About the song, "Hack Therapist" from the band:

This track originally closed the "Dreaming On The Left Side" record. This mix is just a more stripped down version. The DOTLS version had multi layered vocals, some mixed more in the background, others more upfront, also more effected. This mix is just Jonathan on 3 tracks, doing a 3 part harmony, right to tape. All the vocal parts are single and all the same volume sans heavy effects.  What's interesting is the lead vocal is the conversation between the doctor (aka the hack therapist) and the patient, while the vocal harmonies that also pad the lead vocal are the thoughts the patient is having in his head during the therapy session.
