About the song, “Indie Nerd Strikes Again” from songwriters, Jon Scanlon and Matt Hajdys:

“This song is part of a fictional concept. Imagine that it takes place in an alternate universe in which our own version of Randall Flagg, the character from the Stephen King novels, was to travel through 4 songs that spanned several Mister Vertigo records. The character is the antithesis of us really and yet there is some sense of personal thoughts that influenced the main character in a comical sense. It really is part of our ridiculous sense of humor and being proud super nerds. The lyrics are meant to be pure sarcasm, a pun, tongue in cheek, a joke in almost every way. I mean, you really can't say something "sucks" when what that something is, is exactly what you are hearing. Plus it's the thing we all love the most as a band.”
